First of all we had my birthday. My parents came for a visit up to Sydney and DH took the day off so we could go out to my choice of activity. I couldn't go past the 80s exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum.

This was the entrance - a wall of records. Have a close look. How many do you have?

Little Miss Chief found some Barbies that she has at home, inherited from her Auntie's collection.
Little Miss Chief had a trip to the hospital where we found out that not only does have asthma, but that she's had it for a while! All unbeknownst to us. As we weren't expecting her to stay overnight at the hospital we didn't bring any of her favourite toys to sleep with. However she did manage to make a new friend until Da could bring in her friends from home.

Isn't he a cutie? And look at what a trooper she was. She's such a brave little cookie.
Next came the footy. Yeah! Footy season is back! Sure it wasn't Collingwood we saw live but after being starved of our favourite game all Summer it was great to be back in the thick of it.

And don't worry about the outward appearance, Little Miss and I are still Black and White through and through!
DH and I had a night out - without children! And what a night it was. It was a show at the Opera House but rather than sitting in the audience watching the actors, we were part of the show. It was called Apollo 13 Mission Control, and for anyone who's seen the movie, you should have a good idea of what it was about. For us smart people who shelled out the extra $4 for a console seat, we were one of the many people charged with the responsibility of bringing the astronauts home.

Here's DH and I in our "official" capacity. (We took our jobs very seriously)

The famous "square peg in a round hole". If you don't know what I mean then you should hire the movie - It's really good!

We rocketed!!
And just this weekend we had the Easter show. Mainly to meet Scotty from Prank Patrol (what do you mean "who?!")

Rascal Boy was the one who wanted to meet him but even Scotty wasn't enough to remove a strong photo-phobia. So Little Miss stepped in. As long as Scotty was in it, that's all that matters!
Then we had our first ever ride at the show - the Ferris Wheel!

Little Miss nearly exploded with excitement

And we even snuck a photo of Rascal Boy hehehe.
After all that I think I might have actually wrote 1000 words!
