It's taken a while but finally I have found the time to update the look of my blog. It's taken scratching everything else of my schedule (including, I kid you not, getting dressed. I'm typing this in my bathrobe). It also took having my husband home from work to fill in for me on other tasks like, you know, raising the kids 'n' all that.
I hope you like it. I was looking for a nice sharp, clean look and I think I've achieved that. I also had to update the photos as the kids had aged about two years since I last updated (DH and I have probably aged about 10 years in that time)
I've made the header and background up from a digital scrapbooking kit from Kaiser Crafts named "Tag This".
Now if only I could find the time to post an update....
Maybe tomorrow...

Hey Smauge, cool background! Love the header too - how clever are you, I've never been able to get my "homemade" backgrounds the right size for my blog so I end up using someone elses LOL!

I totally agree with your post about people socialising via blogs, facebook etc, well said! I'm also saddened to read about Maisy's diagnosis. I hope the next load of tests don't bring any further things to light and that you know already what's to be. Thanks for sharing that with us in blog land. x x x
